"Hezbollah Brigades of Palestine": the latest manifestation of jihad in Palestine
The group issued a statement Saturday describing itself as a "Sunni Jihad group which has nothing to do with politics" made up of "former members of Fatah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and leftist parties" whose goal is to "carry out Jihad for the sake of Allah and resist enemies of Islam," the Israeli Web site DEBKAfile.com reported.
Unnamed sources told the Web site the Lebanese Hezbollah is behind the new group, saying it aims to lure members of all the established Palestinian terrorist groups on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip for ad hoc operations against Israel.
DEBKAfile.com said unnamed Israeli counter-terrorism officials believe Hezbollah issued the statement to counter a warning from Brig. Gaby Eisenkott of the Israeli Defense Forces that any new Hezbollah rocket attacks would result in the destruction of Shiite villages in southern Lebanon.
TURKEY: CAMEL WRESTLING SEASON OPENS
Traditional camel wrestling, held in the Western Turkey city of Aydin since 200 years, will begin the new season on November 30, Turkish Daily News writes. Income from the fights, held in special arenas created by municipality supported provinces, will be spent on social support initiatives such as the restoration of mosques and schools and for the benefit of local sports clubs. A reasonable share of the revenue will be given to the Aydin Society for the Preservation of Animal Rights. Camel wrestling is an event in which two male camels fight in response to a female camel in heat left in front them.
Male camels head butt each other until one is knocked out.

Saudi cleric favours one-eye veil
A Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia has called on women to wear a full veil, or niqab, that reveals only one eye. Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan said showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive.
The question of how much of her face a woman should cover is a controversial topic in many Muslim societies.
The niqab is more common in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, but women in much of the Muslim Middle East wear a headscarf which covers only their hair.
Sheikh Habadan, an ultra-conservative cleric who is said to have wide influence among religious Saudis, was answering questions on the Muslim satellite channel al-Majd.

Kuwait Human Rights Society demands that YouTube erase "anti-Islam" material
Urging the authorities to take the necessary legal action in case the website fails to erase the statements, Al-Damkhi stressed “uttering profanities against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the worst form of human rights violation in the world. Attacks on the values and tenets of Islam are extremely dangerous and unacceptable.”
Al-Damkhi pointed out the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) strongly condemns attacks on the holy prophets and religions. He confirmed KHRS recognizes the importance of freedom of conducting scientific research, exchange of information, and significance of the latest technologies and media on human lives, but it is against how ‘YouTube’ depicts Islam. He said this is an outright violation of the human rights of millions of Muslims all over the world.
That is, material that reports accurately about Islamic teachings and Muslims acting upon those teachings. "Uttering profanities against Prophet Muhammad (PissBeUponHim) is the worst form of human rights violation in the world." Worse than murder. Worse than slavery. Worse than torture. Worse than genocide. You know the things that muslims don't find to be against human rights.
"Achmed the Dead Terrorist" banned in South Africa as offensive to Muslims
Wait a minute. Aren't we supposed to believe that Muslims condemn and abhor terrorism? At least until someone mocks an Islamic terrorist. Then suddenly one has offended all Muslims. But if they really condemn terrorism, wouldn't they find Achmed the Dead Terrorist inoffensive and maybe even helpful? It's no laughing matter.
Funnyman ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is fuming after a ringtone advertisement based on his popular comedy skit, "Achmed the Dead Terrorist," was scrubbed from South African TV because it mocks Islam.
The ringtone was taken from a puppet routine performed by Dunham, a native Texan, in a TV special on Comedy Central. A 10-minute clip of the comedian's routine that was posted on YouTube has been viewed more than 66 million times since April.
But the government of South Africa doesn't think it's funny. According to iafrica.com, South Africa's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that a GloMobile ringtone commercial featuring Dunham and his puppet was offensive to Muslims.
The commercial depicts Dunham holding his skeletal puppet, Achmed, dressed with a white cloth around his head and demanding that the audience keep quiet, uttering, "Silence! I will kill you!"
ASA officials said a South African man, Moegamat Khan, had filed a complaint that the commercial was offensive to the Islamic religion and created an impression that all Muslims were terrorists.
Questions: Have you ever seen a Muslim spokesman say, "Hey, we really liked this anti-terror presentation"? Have you ever seen a Muslim spokesman say, "Hey, we really liked this anti-terror presentation because it stated that not all Muslims are terrorists"? Have you ever seen a Muslim spokesman react to an anti-terror presentation without saying that it gave the impression that all Muslims were terrorists, even when the presentation in question explicitly denied that all Muslims were terrorists -- as does Obsession?
And the ASA agreed. "To associate this divine inspiration to a terrorist is offensive to the people who believe in [Muhammad]," the authority ruled. Muslims make up 2 percent of South Africa's population.
But Dunham begs to differ. In a statement to FOXNews.com, he said: "Achmed makes it clear in my act that he is not Muslim, so I'm sorry the gentleman Khan didn't see my entire show.
"I've skewered whites, blacks, Hispanics, Christians, Jews, Muslims, gays, straights, rednecks, addicts, the elderly, and my wife. As a standup comic, it is my job to make the majority of people laugh, and I believe that comedy is the last true form of free speech."...
So, Ashmed is not a muslim? Sure and pigs fly.

Secularism is as foreign to Islamic theory as is Sharia law to Americans
The distinction between the City of God and the City of Man laid the foundation for the Catholic Church’s cession of temporal power to the emerging European state, which in turn placed limits upon the Church’s temporal response to the Reformation...
Now it may be true, from the point of view of Christianity, that the modern understanding of secularism has taken the distinction between the City of God and the City of Man too far. Thus the continuous debate in America on the proper role of religion in the public sphere. But at the very least, Christians have a history that requires them to grapple with secularism as something of their own kin. Secularism cannot be completely rejected as “other,” as an imposition of a rival faith.
The situation is much different for Muslims. Islamic theory describes a proper ordering of the civil community. Secularism is as foreign to Islamic theory as is Sharia law to Americans. Thus it was surprising when Prime Minister Blair, at his talk last weekend, suggested a parallel between tensions relating to Ireland in Great Britain and the tensions in the Middle East. Tensions in the Middle East are only partially caused by internal sectarian conflict. They are also caused, and perhaps to a much larger extent, by the prospect of globalization.
Globalization does not simply mean the development of third-world countries, the spread of efficient communication and transportation systems, or the increasing mobility of capital. Rather, globalization also entails the progress of Western ideals, secularism foremost among them. While it is possible, therefore, that globalization will strengthen Christian faith, it is not possible for it to strengthen Muslim faith.
The muslims do not want people to live in a civilized mannor. They prefer the seventh century.
How To Identify A Terrorist
PARIS (AP) — Security officials from several European countries have developed a manual to help prison authorities prevent their jailhouses from becoming incubators for Muslim extremists. The manual, developed by France, Germany and Austria, includes signs that may indicate that a prisoner was becoming radicalized, including the presence of a growing beard. A prison group feared the manual could stigmatize Muslim inmates.
The document was distributed at a two-day closed-door conference of European security experts that ended Wednesday. It will be given to prison personnel.
Prisons "can be a facilitator and an accelerator" of radicalization and inmates are often "strongly destabilized" and therefore malleable, said Christophe Chaboud, head of France's Anti-Terrorist Coordination Unit.
"It is not a question of religion but of confrontation with the West," Chaboud said in a telephone interview.
Islam is the second-largest religion in France and, while there are no official figures available, Muslims make up a large part of the inmate population — the majority in some prisons.
A disproportionate number of Muslims can be found in prisons in other European Union countries.
France began massive arrests of Islamic militants linked to insurgents in Algeria after deadly bombings in subways and elsewhere that began in 1995 and terrorized the nation.
But it was only in 2004 that authorities began to act on the simmering threat posed by jailed extremists looking to turn even non-practicing Muslim inmates into radicals and recruit for their cause

Symbol of Decadence
The Atlantis hotel’s grand opening party is at the centre of a terrorism scare after British spies uncovered plans to target the lavish event in Dubai, to be attended by 2,000 VIPs.There are fears Al-Qaeda is planning to bomb the event on Nov. 20 because it is seen by Islamic extremists as a symbol of decadence in a Muslim country, according to the UK's Sky News television.
Business leaders, politicians, actors, musicians and members of the Dubai royal family have all been invited to the grand opening, which is estimated to be costing $28 million and will be headlined by pop princess Kylie Minogue.
The launch of Atlantis has become one of the most talked about events on the Dubai calendar, with several global superstars linked with the grand opening, including Michael Jackson and Madonna.
The 1,539-room resort encompasses a 46-hectare site with 17 hectares of water-themed amusement parks, an open air marine habitat, beaches, boutiques and restaurants.

The Hijab as aphrodisiac?

I admit I used to be one of the people who looked away awkwardly when approaching a Muslim woman dressed in veils. Because to this veiled woman, who was I? A promiscuous hellion raising chaos in my arm-baring shirts, that's who.
After all, what could a conservative woman covered, quite literally, from head to toe have in common with me?
To say wearing more revealing clothing represents freedom is ridiculous, especially when a woman might choose to dress more conservatively to feel comfortable.
With young women in our nation shamelessly flaunting themselves these days, it leaves little to the imagination--which, as Wolf says, actually reduces libido in men.
So while covering up may symbolize culture or religion for Muslims, maybe a modicum of modesty for us Western gals wouldn't be such a bad idea, either.
UK: Muslims try to get alcohol banned at local supermarket
More than 150 people have signed petitions imploring Luton Borough Council to deny the new Tesco Express in Bury Park an alcohol licence.
The bid from the supermarket giant has upset Muslims living in the area, some of whom say they find the idea of alcohol being sold offensive.
Next Tuesday councillors will make a decision on the application, which, if successful, would see the store permitted to sell alcohol from 6am until 11pm every day (...)
UK Muslim sues supermarket for making him carry beer on a forklift
A Muslim worker is suing Tesco for discrimination after being asked to transport beer on his forklift truck.
Mohammed Ahmed claims he was in effect forced from his job because managers refused to accept that handling alcohol offended his beliefs.
The 32-year-old, raised in Saudi Arabia, told a tribunal he had never visited a Tesco store and had no idea it sold alcohol when he took on the role.
You would think that any rational person would say "my religion tells me that I cannot work with alcohol, so I need to find a place that does not have alcohol." But not this muslim, he is going to sue the company for forcing him to handle alcohol.
But he admitted shopping at Sainsbury's, Lidl and Asda and seeing alcohol on sale there.
It was, 'reasonable to expect him to be aware of what Tesco did', said company lawyer Laura Canham, accusing him of giving out mixed messages by suggesting at one point he could handle Budweiser.

Daughter of hate preacher has secret life as pole dancer

Hundreds of youngsters go wild over the daughter of the preacher of hate who rants against Western 'depravity'.
Yasmin shrugged off the secret life that her father would abhor. 'I don't agree with his views - I just get on with my life and that's it,' she said.
Perhaps predictably Bakri, now exiled to Lebanon, dismissed the news as a ' fabrication' and described it as an attack on him and Islam.
'The more you put pressure on me, the stronger I become. Islam will conquer Britain,' he said.
One friend told the newspaper: 'Bakri would have a heart attack if he saw his daughter on stage.
'She was brought up a strict Muslim and had all of his extreme teachings about morality drummed into her head.
'But she has been leading a wild double life thrashing about on stage in pole dancing clubs and drinking and partying like there's no tomorrow.'
Bakri initially reacted with horror when confronted with Yasmin's lifestyle. 'If this is true I am deeply shocked,' he said. 'She was brought up properly in the Muslim faith, but she is free to make her own choices in life.
'I have no control over her because as far as I know she is still married. Her behaviour should be the responsibility of her husband.'
Yesterday Syrian-born Bakri, whose leave to remain in Britain was revoked after the 7/7 London attacks, changed his tune and claimed: 'I have no daughter doing anything like this - all my children are practising Muslims.
Russia sending heavily-armed patrol ship to Somali coast to combat piracy
This is what modern day pirates look like. They will attack a ship and steal the cargo or hold the ship or crew for ransom. They can get hundreds of thousands of dollars for both the ship and crew. Well, they decided to attack a Ukrainian ship carrying arms, including 30 tanks and now the Russians are going to take care of this problem the non-politically correct way. They are going to kill them, all of them. The Russian Navy's central command has sent the patrol ship, Neustrashimy, to the coast of Somalia after pirates seized a Ukranian vessel in the region.
The patrol ship Neustrashimy left the Baltic Fleet's main base in Baltiisk on September 24 to ensure a naval presence in oceanic and maritime areas, Captain Dygalo said.
The number of attacks by Somali pirates on civilian vessels belonging to different countries has increased recently.
Pirates hijacked Ukraine's vessel Faina under Belize's flag en route to Kenya in neutral waters not far from Kenya's coast on Thursday (local time).
Some reports indicate that the Ukrainian ship was carrying military hardware, including nearly 30 T-72 tanks and spare parts for armoured hardware.
The patrol ship Neustrashimy is equipped with anti-submarine and air defence missile systems, a 100 millimetre artillery gun, torpedo systems and rocket-assisted bomb launchers.

Muslims Beat Homeless Man Because He Was Drinking During Ramadan
You see, the two assailants were Muslim men, who when walking by in the street, became enraged that this homeless man had the sheer audacity to drink during Ramadan. According to eyewitness accounts, "The father started screaming at him that he had 'no right to drink during Ramadan,'" which doesn't sound all that "peaceful" or "tolerant" to me....
Court rules that monitoring of Muslims was constitutional
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan issued its ruling Wednesday in cases brought by several men who claimed their constitutional rights were violated.
The program was put in place after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. It required males from 24 Arab and predominantly Muslim countries and North Korea to register.
The requirement has since been phased out, but the database of information still exists....
Finally someone is thinking.
Another Example of Creeping Sharia
We read: A council has barred a grieving family from burying their stepfather on a Saturday - because he was not Muslim.
Harold 'Charlie' Lemaire died last week aged 75 from pneumonia. His stepdaughter, Jean Maltby, wanted the funeral to be held this Saturday so family who live outside the city could attend.
The retired steel worker's stepson Stephen lives in Dorset while other members of his family live as far away as the Isle of Man.
But when her funeral director called Sheffield's City Road Cemetery to arrange a memorial service followed by burial, he was told the funeral would not be allowed on a Saturday because the family was not Muslim.
The city's council confirmed it does not offer funerals at the weekend except to Muslims, in line with the rules of the Islamic faith that the dead must be buried as soon as possible.
Ms Maltby said today she felt it was unfair to offer weekend funerals to one religion and not to others.
'It should be one rule for everyone - and I don't think the people of Sheffield realise the council has made this decision,' she said.
'It goes against the council's policy of equal rights. They are making a service available to one sector of the community and not another.'...
This is just one more example of special privillages for the muslims. They will be demanding more. That is the way it works with the muslims.

It Is Time For Shia To Beat Themselves Again
This is how the shia branch of the religion of peace celebrates the death, not the birthday, of imam ali. He is the cousin and brother in law of Old Mo. He is the first imam of the shia and the fourth according to the sunni. This is the person that caused the rift between the sunni and the shia for the last 1400 years. They beat themselves with very sharp instuments to celebrate the ali's martyrdom. Ain't that interesting?Monday, September 22, 2008
IDF Soldier Blinded in Acid Attack by Arab Female at Hawara
The terrorist attacked the young soldier while he was manning the Hawara checkpoint near the PA-controlled city of Shechem in Samaria. She sprayed the toxic acid in his face as she crossed through the humanitarian lane which requires no security checks, inasmuch as it is used for medical care and other urgent cases.
Soldiers arrested the woman, who was found to be the same terrorist who struck in a similar attack on another soldier at the same location last week.
Monday’s incident was the second assault by the same terrorist this month. In the previous attack, she also attempted to cross through the humanitarian lane. She then approached the soldier stationed in the lane, sprayed the acid at his face and raced back in the direction from which she had come. However, in the chaos that ensued last time, she succeeded in her escape.
This woman is clearly a terrorist. She should have just been shot on the spot. Israel needs to stop being so nice to the poor arab muslims.

Nebraska Swift plant fires at least 86 over Ramadan demands
Just why are we supposed to bend over backwards to these barbarians? They come to this country and want to set up shop here. Well, then they need to comform to our way of doing things.
The muslim workers have been asking for acommodatinf with break times allowed at sunset. Now the non-muslims have began their own protests. They are fed up with this constant appeasement of the muslims. They are rightly claiming preferential treatment.
One of the Somali workers, Mohamed Farah, said some workers tried to take a break to pray Thursday around sunset. The break had been arranged with managers, Farah told The Associated Press, with Rage translating the conversation.
Farah said tension had been building in recent days with Latino workers, who started protesting when they saw the Muslim workers leaving for break. Farah said the Latino workers started shouting and beating on their tables.
Dan Hoppes, president of Local 22 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, described what happened Thursday night differently than Rage and Farah did. He said that according to management and employees, 60 to 80 people quit late Thursday after raising the prayer issue and creating a commotion.
Hoppes said supervisors had told the workers to go back to work or leave and they left. Workers who walked off the job Monday and Tuesday in protest had to have known their leaving again would result in their termination, he said.
The plant employs about 2,500 people, not counting management. About a fifth of them are Muslim.
Swift said in a statement that the company is working to resolve the issues that have arisen.
Tancredo Proposes Anti-Sharia Measure
“This is a case where truth is truly stranger than fiction,” said Tancredo. “Today the British people are learning a hard lesson about the consequences of massive, unrestricted immigration.”Sharia law, favored by Muslim extremists around the world, often calls for brutal punishment – such as the stoning of women who are accused of adultery or have children out of wedlock, cutting off the hands of petty thieves and lashings for the casual consumption of alcohol. Under Sharia law, a woman is often required to provide numerous witnesses to prove rape allegations against an assailant – a near impossible task. “When you have an immigration policy that allows for the importation of millions of radical Muslims, you are also importing their radical ideology – an ideology that is fundamentally hostile to the foundations of western democracy – such as gender equality, pluralism, and individual liberty,” said Tancredo. “The best way to safeguard America against the importation of the destructive effects of this poisonous ideology is to prevent its purveyors from coming here in the first place.”Tancredo’s bill, dubbed the “Jihad Prevention Act,” would bar the entry of foreign nationals who advocate Sharia law. In addition, the legislation would make the advocacy of Sharia law by radical Muslims already in the United States a deportable offense.Tancredo pointed to the results of a recent poll conducted by the Centre for Social Cohesion as evidence that the U.S. should act to prevent the situation in Great Britain from replicating itself here in the United States. The poll found that some 40 percent of Muslim students in the United Kingdom support the introduction of Sharia law there, and 33 percent support the imposition of an Islamic Sharia-based government worldwide.“We need to send a clear message that the only law we recognize here in America is the U.S. Constitution and the laws passed by our democratically elected representatives,” concluded Tancredo. “If you aren’t comfortable with that concept, you aren’t welcome in the United States.”
