Saudi judge upholds 47-year-old man's marriage to 8-year-old

To do otherwise would be to cast aspersions on Muhammad's example -- a "beautiful pattern of conduct," per Qur'an 33:21 -- in marrying Aisha when she was six and consummating the marriage when she was nine. Meanwhile, the girl can petition the court for a divorce... when she reaches puberty!

(CNN) -- A Saudi mother is expected to appeal a judge's ruling after he once again refused to let her 8-year-old daughter divorce a 47-year-old man, a relative said.

Sheikh Habib Al-Habib made the ruling Saturday in the Saudi city of Onaiza. Late last year, he rejected a petition to annul the marriage.

The case, which has drawn criticism from local and international rights groups, came to light in December when Al-Habib declined to annul the marriage on a legal technicality. His dismissal of the mother's petition sparked outrage and made headlines around the world.

The judge said the mother, who is separated from the girl's father, was not the legal guardian and therefore could not represent her daughter, the mother's lawyer, Abdullah al-Jutaili, said at the time.

The girl's husband pledged not to consummate the marriage until the girl reaches puberty, according to al-Jutaili, who added that the girl's father arranged the marriage to settle his debts with the man, who is considered "a close friend."

In March, an appeals court in the Saudi capital of Riyadh declined to certify the original ruling, in essence rejecting al-Habib's verdict, and sent the case back to al-Habib for reconsideration.

Under the Saudi legal process, the appeals court ruling meant that the marriage was still in effect, but that a challenge to the marriage was still ongoing.

The relative, who said the girl's mother will continue to pursue a divorce, told CNN the judge "stuck by his earlier verdict and insisted that the girl could petition the court for a divorce once she reached puberty."

The appeals court in Riyadh will take up the case again and a hearing is scheduled for next month, according to the relative.

Child marriages have made news in Saudi Arabia in the past year.

In a statement issued shortly after the original verdict, the Society of Defending Women's Rights in Saudi Arabia said the judge's decision went against children's "basic rights."

Marrying children makes them "lose their sense of security and safety," the group said. "Also, it destroys their feeling of being loved and nurtured. It causes them a lifetime of psychological problems and severe depression."

But Muhammad did it, and therein lies the obstacle to reform.

Zuhair al-Harithi, a spokesman for the Saudi Human Rights Commission, a government-run group, told CNN that his organization was fighting child marriages.

"Child marriages violate international agreements that have been signed by Saudi Arabia and should not be allowed," al-Harithi said.

Child marriage is not unusual, said Christoph Wilcke, a Saudi Arabian researcher for the international group Human Rights Watch, after the initial verdict.

There's no mention from CNN of why child marriage is so persistent.

"We've been hearing about these types of cases once every four or five months because the Saudi public is now able to express this kind of anger, especially so when girls are traded off to older men," Wilcke told CNN.

She was sold to settle a debt. This is plain and simple. Women and children are the property of the muslim male. He is in total control and with this total control there is abuse of every kind. She is now a slave, not a wife.

Exerpt from The dark side of Dubai

This is a very long article. I have posted the link below. I was amazed at what is said about this country. This section is about gays in the middle east. I was really interested in the part about Saudi Arabia.

It is illegal to be gay in Dubai, and punishable by 10 years in prison. But the locations of the latest unofficial gay clubs circulate online, and men flock there, seemingly unafraid of the police. "They might bust the club, but they will just disperse us," one of them says. "The police have other things to do."

In every large city, gay people find a way to find each other – but Dubai has become the clearing-house for the region's homosexuals, a place where they can live in relative safety. Saleh, a lean private in the Saudi Arabian army, has come here for the Coldplay concert, and tells me Dubai is "great" for gays: "In Saudi, it's hard to be straight when you're young. The women are shut away so everyone has gay sex. But they only want to have sex with boys – 15- to 21-year-olds. I'm 27, so I'm too old now. I need to find real gays, so this is the best place. All Arab gays want to live in Dubai."

With that, Saleh dances off across the dancefloor, towards a Dutch guy with big biceps and a big smile.

See how well the segregation of the sexes are? The men in SA are having gay sex because that is all that is available. Amazing insite into the backwards world of muslims.

OBAMA AS MUSLIM APOLOGIST

AMERICA “ENRICHED” BY ISLAM
By
Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.
with Michael Travis
“We will convey,” Barack Obama told the Turkish Parliament Monday, “our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world - - including my own country.” He assured the Turkish leaders (who have become increasingly radicalized under President Abdullah Gul) that America “is not and never will be at war with Islam.” And he went on to say that “the United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans,” including his ancestors.

By making these remarks, Mr. Obama (who made a point of being introduced to the Turkish Nation as “Barack Hussein Obama”) is treading in the hobbled footprints of his foolhardy predecessor.

George W. Bush, the first person in history to declare Islam to be “A Religion of Peace”, stated in his second inaugural address, that Islam represented a major factor in the development of American heritage and culture and that “our national life [is sustained] by the truths of Sinai, the Sermon on the Mount, the words of the Koran.”

Barack Hussein and George W. appear to be blithely unaware that there were no Muslims among the passengers on the Mayflower or the settlers at Jamestown. Muslims were conspicuously absent from the ranks of George Washington’s Army of the Revolution and played no role in the creation of the American republic - - save for the fact that the new country’s first declaration of war was against the forces of Islam represented by the Barbary pirates.1
Despite popular folklore, few Muslims numbered among the 12 million black Africans who were shipped to the New World from the 17th to 19th centuries. The Muslims, in fact, were not the slaves but the slave traders. Senegalese educator Amadou-Mahtar M’Bow has written that in 1587 a shipload of Moriscos (Spanish Moors) landed in a coastal area of South Carolina. The Moors, he contends, migrated to the mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina where they established colonies.2 In reality, this is pure speculation. There is not a scintilla of archival or archaeological evidence to support this claim.
This is a very interesting article.

$350K Awarded fo Muslim Girl For Bullying Update

I did some research into this. It did not take long to find out that CAIR was involved in this.

The other thing that I found interesteding was what was said in ING.ORG:

A few minutes before the bell rang to end the lunch period, Laila, a Muslim student who wears a hijab, the head scarf worn by many Muslim women, says she noticed a boy, whom she recognized but did not know, approaching them. "He walked right over to us," Laila says. "There were a lot of people standing around. He got real close, and then he just started screaming at me:

'"Her father is bin Laden! She's going to blow up the school, she's going to blow it up! She has a bomb under her sweater! Everybody run, this jihad girl is going to kill us!'"

Laila says the boy and his two friends doubled over, laughing. Other students walked quickly as they passed. "I was so mad, just so embarrassed. I wanted to spit in his face," Laila says. Laila, who is 17 and recently graduated, says she faced this kind of harassment and discrimination at school many times over the last four years. But the bin Laden incident stuck with her because so many people witnessed it, both students and teachers, and no one did or said anything about it.

"I had math after lunch, and I told my teacher what happened," Laila says. "My teacher said she had heard the whole thing. And then she said I shouldn't make a big deal out of it. 'He has the right to express his opinions,'" Laila remembers her saying.

Laila told her teacher that she didn't think that was fair. "She told me that my people had caused a lot of problems in the world, and that I should understand if people were frustrated with me," Laila says.

This is not a death threat in anyway, it is taunting. This happens in school. I know I was on the receiving end many times. Was it handled correctly? NO. But what the teach said is true. The kid has a right to his opinions and the teachers comment was true, though not politically correct.

The previous post tells us that she could not give a description and that they could not find a perpetrator of the "death threat". Well the above quote is very much different.

Muslim Girl Gets $400G From Nevada School District in Head Scarf Bully Case

A Nevada school district agreed to pay $400,000 to a Muslim girl and her friend over allegations that other students threatened to kill her in the stairwell for wearing a religious head scarf and the staff did nothing to stop it.

The Washoe County School District in the Reno area will give Egyptian former student Jana Elhifny $350,000 and her non-Muslim friend and supporter Stephanie Hart $50,000 as part of the civil settlement.

Elhifny and her family came to Reno from Egypt in 2003, and the girl enrolled as a freshman at North Valleys High School.

She didn't finish the year after she told teachers and administrators that someone had threatened to kill her in the stairwell because of her Muslim hijab or head scarf, the district's independent attorney in the case, Robert Cox, told FOXNews.com.

Shortly afterwards, Cox said, Elhifny filed the lawsuit and returned to Egypt, where she married her fiancé.

More like arranged marriage.

The lawsuit, handled by U.S. District Court in Reno, alleges that Elhifny faced death threats and harassment and school administrators did nothing to stop the abuse.

Cox said that wasn't true, and the teen was unable to give any description of her tormenter — including his or her gender, size and tone of voice.

He said the high school tried to investigate her claims but was unsuccessful because of the lack of information.

"The district did an incredibly thorough investigation," Cox told FOXNews.com in a phone interview. "They could never identify the person who perpetrated these acts. ... The district did everything it could do to try to help this young woman who is an Egyptian and of the Islam faith."

Cox said school officials couldn't confirm the stairwell death threat story.

"They tried to prove that, tried to track down who it was, but without a description ... that couldn't be done," he said. "The district did watch her constantly and had people in the hallway."
He said the settlement was agreed upon to end lengthy and "expensive litigation." The case has been fought in the courts for the past four years, according to Cox.

Lawyers for the girls praised them for their bravery in bringing the suit in a joint press released issued by counsel for both sides.

"Ms. Elhifny and Ms. Hart had the courage to stand up for themselves and defend their right to a safe education," said Peter Obstler, a San Francisco attorney who handled the young women's lawsuits with the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada.

Hart, a non-Muslim who says she was ostracized when she befriended Elhifny at North Valleys High School and also dropped out, will receive $50,000. Cox said she was a supporter of Elhifny's rather than a victim and never complained to school officials before getting involved in the lawsuit.

The settlement was announced early Wednesday. The monetary award will be paid by the district's insurance carrier.

The district also agreed to work with lawyers on harassment and discrimination policies.

Attempts to reach Elhifny in Egypt and Hart, who now has a child and resides in California, weren't immediately successful.

So, she claims to be threatened, she files a lawsuit, they find no perpetrator, she marries a guy from Egypt, they move back to the US, they collect $350,000 and now lives with her husband, probably her first cousin, and child in California, all being paid for by a false claim? This is only one thing, jizya for the muslims. I would like to know why if she could not provide any description of a suspect that it was not thrown out of court as a frivilous lawsuit. What do you bet that CAIR funded the lawyers?

In televised speech, Nasrallah admits Hizballah is smuggling arms to Gaza through Egypt

Egyptian officials responded angrily to a speech by Hizbullah's leader, in which he admitted that the Lebanese terror group was smuggling arms into the Gaza Strip, and told the London-based Arab daily al-Sharq al-Awsat that "[Hassan] Nasrallah wants to turn Egypt into a playground like Lebanon."

In an article published on Saturday, the officials blamed Hizbullah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah of "dragging Egypt into this situation" by letting his people enter Egypt "for satanic purposes."

"Egypt is not a playground in which others can play. Egypt is not a building without a doorkeeper," the unnamed officials warned Hizbullah.

The Egyptian officials reportedly went on to link Nassrallah's speech to the interests of the Iranian government.

In other words, it's not about Israel; it's about containing Shi'ite Iran.

"Nasrallah's admission and the language he used point to Hizbullah's desire to unite Egypt and the rest of the region with the Lebanese resistance movement and its solidarity with the Palestinians, under complicated international circumstances - for the mere sake of satisfying the Iranian interest to occupy the world, as (Teheran) develops its nuclear program," the officials were quoted as saying.

On Friday night, Nasrallah confirmed that his terror group has been making efforts to smuggle weapons to Hamas through Egypt.

In televised comments, Hizbullah's leader said that one of the people arrested by Egyptian authorities in a recent raid on an alleged terror cell was providing logistical aid to Hamas in Gaza.

It just amazes me that Israel has not been able to kill this guy.

Pakistan: Muslim men who gang-raped a 13 year-old Christian girl are declared "innocent"

Police in Muslim-majority nation suspected of corruption.

ISTANBUL, April 10 (Compass Direct News) – Police have declared three Pakistani men innocent of raping a 13-year-old Christian girl despite eye witness accounts and medical evidence indicating their guilt. At a hearing in Nankana Sahib district court on April 3, police from the Pakistani town of Sangla Hill, 64 miles from Lahore, cleared 40-year-old Mohammed Shahbaz, 30-year-old Waqas Sadiq and 25-year-old Yousaf Sadiq of accusations of raping and threatening Ambreen Masih. Shahbaz was the only suspect to attend the hearing, which was initially called to discuss terms of his pre-arrest bail.

But Judge Ijaz Hussan Awan said he couldn’t set terms for bail if police didn’t want to arrest or detain him. “In Pakistan it has always been like this – the wealthy person can approach the police and change the course of an investigation,” said prosecuting attorney Akbar Durrani. “Regarding Christians, they cannot put any pressure on the police for a fair investigation.”

Isn't islam a great religion?

Somali pirates seize another US ship

Hmmm...do you think maybe the jihadi pirates just aren't scared of the US military under the command of Barack Obama?

SOMALI pirates have captured an Italian-flagged US tug and its 16-strong crew today, an official with Kenya's East African Seafarers Assistance Program said.

"It's a US-owned and Italian-flagged tugboat that was taken around 1100 this morning in the Gulf of Aden,'' said Andrew Mwangura.

"The 16 crew members are all safe,'' he said.

Today's attack was just the latest in a series of raids on internatinal [sic] shipping in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.

Somali pirates have continued to operate despite the presence of an international task force gathered to defend shipping in what is one of the world's busiest shipping lanes.

Another group of Somalis are holding a US captain hostage off the Somali coast after having abducted him during an unsuccessful bid to hijack his ship, the Maersk Alabama.

The four pirates guarding Captain Richard Phillips on the lifeboat they used to escape have warned US forces in the area not to attempt to rescue him.

French yachtsman Florent Lemacon died on Friday as French marine commandos stormed his boat, the Tanit, freeing four other hostages including his three-year-old son, killing two pirates and capturing three others....

At least the French are showing some courage.

Hard to believe it is the French that are actually fighting these muslim terrorist prirates.

Again it is Somalia that is causing all of this trouble. Maybe the UN should do something about it. Oh wait, it is virtually controlled by muslims now. Obama is a muslim too. So nothing is going to get done.

U.S. nationals among Somalia jihadists: "if you can encourage more of your children and more of your neighbors and anyone around to send people like h

WASHINGTON (AFP) — American recruits of Somali extremists addressed a press conference in the conflict-wracked country this week to rally other youths to join their jihad (holy war), a US monitoring group said Friday.

On April 5, "two American members of the Mujahideen Youth Movement (MYM) identified as Abu-Muslim and Abu Yaxye" spoke at the news conference and acknowledged that "many" Somali-Americans are "all over Somalia to join the jihad," said the SITE Intelligence Group.

The pair said they are "Somali youth" from the United States and are stationed near the southern port of Kismayo.

"Some of us are still in training, others are on the frontline of the jihad. Sadly a few of us are dead, one of whom carried out a suicide bombing," said Abu Muslim, as translated by Omar Jamal, executive director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

"We came from the US with a good life and a good education, but we came to fight alongside our brothers of (militant youth Islamic group) Shebab ... to be killed for the sake of God," one of the pair said, according to SITE.

Last month the Federal Bureau of Investigation warned US lawmakers that "radicalized clusters" of Somali-American youths as young as 12 were being recruited by Islamic terror groups.

"This is a priority for the FBI," Philip Mudd, an official with the bureau's national security branch, told a Senate committee hearing. "We are looking at individuals who are sending kids in the wrong direction."

Mudd identified the Shebab group as the driving force behind the recruitment effort, and said it also has ties to Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda network.

The Somali community in the United States numbers about 150,000 to 200,000, according to the FBI, and is centered largely on Minneapolis, Minnesota.

At the end of March SITE also made public a propaganda video made by Islamic extremists in Somalia featuring appeals to foreign recruits from an "American" fighter along with English rapping and songs.

The 31-minute video had an on-camera narrator who is identified as "Abu Mansour the American" making a pitch for new overseas recruits after praising one militant fighter killed in an apparent ambush shown on the tape.

"So, if you can encourage more of your children and more of your neighbors and anyone around to send people like him to this jihad, it would be a great asset for us," he said on the video, according to SITE.

Somalia again. They come to this country and have babies that are american citizens. They then go to Somalia to train and fight as mujahadeen, so called holy warriers. If they survive what happens when they come home? Will they then be sleeper cells? What happens if the FBI investigates them? I can assure you that CAIR will be all over the FBI claiming racial profiling. We need to be racially profiling. It is not the blue eyed blondes blowing themselves up in the name of their god.

Somalia is also where we are having muslim pirates taking hostages for ransom. That is right out of the so called holy books of the muslims.

Child-killer requests and receives a Koran behind bars

So what? Perhaps she's reforming and repenting of her evil ways? Such would be a Christian interpretation. While the Koran does not advocate killing children, it does advocate killing non-believers. Thus it's not exactly the most ideal book to help reform criminals. More on this story. "Accused Orland child killer asks for Quran behind bars, lawyer says," by Kim Janssen for Southtown Star, April 11:

Accused child killer Nour Hadid asked for a Quran in jail and was provided with one Friday, according to her new attorney, Joel Brodsky.

"Nour had only one request Friday and that was that she be brought an Arabic-language Quran, which the Cook County sheriff's officers have given her," Brodsky said. "Both she and her husband are modest and devout Muslims.

"When not "beating and biting" 2 year-olds to death, that is:

Hadid, 26, is accused of killing her 2-year-old niece, Bhia, by beating and biting her to death over a four-day period ending Sunday.

Police say she gave a video-taped confession to killing the child at her Orland Park home.

But her husband, Alaeddin Hadid, says police humiliated her by forcing her to remove her headscarf for a booking photo, which he said was an insult against the couple's Muslim faith...

If you kill anyone and are caught and arrested there is no reason in the world to give them any special treatment in jail. This woman beat and bit this child to death. Bit her? She should get the death penalty for sure, but she won't. They will claim that she is mentally ill. That is a popular thing to claim in the muslim world.

Somali elders seek to mediate between jihadi pirates and US Navy!

MOGADISHU, April 11 (Reuters) - Somali elders sought to mediate on Saturday between the U.S. navy and pirates holding an American hostage in a high-seas standoff that presents President Barack Obama with a nasty new dilemma.

Four pirates adrift in a lifeboat far out in the Indian Ocean with Richard Phillips, the 53-year-old American captain of a cargo ship they tried to seize on Wednesday, have demanded $2 million for his release and a guarantee of their own safety.

With three U.S. warships in the area, the elders and relatives of the pirates holding Phillips, a father-of-two from rural Vermont, are planning a mediation mission to try to avoid bloodshed, a regional maritime group said.

"They are just looking to arrange safe passage for the pirates, no ransom," group coordinator Andrew Mwangura said.

French special forces stormed a yacht held by pirates elsewhere in the lawless stretch of the Indian Ocean on Friday in an assault that killed one hostage, but freed four.

Two pirates were killed and three captured.

On Saturday pirates seized another vessel, a U.S.-owned, Italian-flagged tugboat with 10 Italians among its 16-member crew, NATO alliance officials on a warship in the region said....
At one point, Phillips tried to escape the lifeboat by jumping overboard, but was quickly recaptured....

Somalia's Islamist insurgent movement al Shabaab, which is on Washington's list of terrorist organisations, lambasted the international naval patrols and said no money should be paid.

"You are the ones who are the pirates. Leave our waters. You will be defeated, whatever you can do. And you will regret anything you pay as a ransom," al Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Muktar Robow Mansoor told reporters.

Al Shabaab has denied any links with the pirates.

In France, the government stood by its raid to free the yacht, which was hijacked en route to Zanzibar last weekend with two couples and a 3-year-old child aboard.

"During the operation, a hostage sadly died," said French President Nicolas Sarkozy's office. But it said the president "confirms France's determination not to give in to blackmail and to defeat the pirates."...

Does the U.S. have such determination?

We do not have that determination. Obama is not the person that is going to do what is necessary. We all know that he is a muslim. He has yet to go to church since becoming president. I thought he went to Wright's church in Chicago all the time. You do have to remember that Wrights church supports hamas and hezbullah. Hence, he is a muslim in my eyes.

Afghan cleric: "Can't we at least give the right to a husband to demand sex from his wife after four nights?"

KABUL – A key backer of an Afghan law that critics say legalizes marital rape and rolls back women's rights rejected an international outcry as foreign meddling on Saturday and insisted the law offers women many protections.
The law, passed last month, says a husband can demand sex with his wife every four days unless she is ill or would be harmed by intercourse, and regulates when and for what reasons a wife may leave her home alone.
"It is essential for the woman to submit to the man's sexual desire," the law says.
The legislation has raised the specter of the deposed hard-line Taliban regime, which fell in 2001 after the U.S. invaded Afghanistan. The Taliban required women to wear all-covering burqas and banned them from leaving home without a male relative.
Following an international uproar over the new law, which President Barack Obama called "abhorrent," Afghan President Hamid Karzai put it under review. The move puts enforcement on hold.
Mohammad Asif Mohseni, a top Afghan cleric and one of the law's main drafters, said the legislation cannot be revoked or changed because it was enacted through a legislative process — passed by both houses of parliament and signed by Karzai.
"The Westerners claim that they have brought democracy to Afghanistan. What does democracy mean? It means government by the people for the people. They should let the people use these democratic rights," Mohseni told reporters in the capital, Kabul.
Surrounded by supporters, Mohseni unfurled reams of paper with hundreds of women's signatures and thumbprints backing the law. The legislation came out of three years of debate and revision involving both Islamic scholars and members of parliament, Mohseni said.
Afghanistan is an Islamic state and its constitution defers to the Quran as the ultimate authority. Mohseni said the law simply reiterates rules from Islam's holy book.
"In Shariah law, it states that a woman cannot go out without the permission of her husband," he said. He argued that the law is permissive because it allows a woman to go out for a medical emergency or other urgent reason without asking.
Mohseni said much of the uproar has come from people misinterpreting the law. He said a woman can refuse sex with her husband for many reasons beyond illness, including fasting for Ramadan, preparing for a pilgrimage, menstruating, or recovering from giving birth.
Mohseni also argued that the law can be interpreted to mean simply sleeping in the same room as a couple every four nights, but an Associated Press translation of the pertinent article suggests this reading is unlikely.
The law says that every fourth day a man "can pass the night with his wife, unless it is harmful for either side, or either of them is suffering from any kind of sexual disease."
"If she is not sick, and if she does not have another problem, it is the right of a man to ask for sex and she should make herself ready for it," Mohseni explained. [...]
Much has improved for women since the fall of the Taliban. Millions of girls now attend school, and many women own businesses. Of 351 parliamentarians, 89 are women. But in the conservative country, critics fear those gains could easily be reversed.
Mohseni argued that women and men are very far from equal in today's Afghanistan and should not be treated as such. He said many rural women are illiterate and would not be able to find work. Men are typically expected to provide for their wives and children.
"For all these expenses, can't we at least give the right to a husband to demand sex from his wife after four nights?" he said.

Only in a muslim country will you see sex being regulated by law. Old Mo was obssessed with sex and the controlling of women. Modern day muslims have to emulate Old Mo since the koran says that he was the most perfect of people. Oh yeah, Old Mo made up the koran.

Woman who walked out of her husband’s home faces eviction

JEDDAH: Noor wept silently when she remembered her father who died seven years ago. The 35-year-old divorcee is a Yemeni national but was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She has been living with no identification papers for the past year and four months.

“I can’t work to earn a living. The owner of the basement I live in will kick me out at the end of the month,” she said.

Noor is the youngest of eleven siblings. She got married to a Yemeni 17 years ago. She had a severe case of hernia and gallbladder stones. Her 38-year-old husband refused to treat her because the operation was costly. He used to beat her, abandon her and does not provide her with the basic needs of life.

“I had two miscarriages because of his violence. My health deteriorated and he didn’t show me any mercy,” said Noor. “I had to leave the house. I couldn’t take it anymore.”

A mother of four boys and a girl, Noor walked out of her husband’s house three years ago. Her husband refused to divorce her, leaving her with no choice but to ask for khula, a form of divorce in Shariah where the woman secures her divorce paying financial compensation to the husband that begins with a reimbursement of the dowry but often includes what the husband sees as his additional expenses for the marriage.

The judge ordered SR10,000 as the compensation for the husband. People of good will lent her SR7,500. “I couldn’t pay them back until now. I had to borrow the rest of the money from the judge. I can’t take my divorce papers until I pay him SR2,500,” said Noor.

Due to divorce procedures and her inability to pay her debt to the judge, Noor cannot transfer her sponsorship to her older brother — who has Saudi citizenship.

He told her he does not want to sponsor her. He would deport her to Yemen and make her live with her brother’s wife there. “But I don’t know anyone in Yemen and my children live here in Makkah,” said Noor.

Arab News contacted a source at the Yemeni Consulate in Jeddah. The source, who asked not to be named, said he intervened in Noor’s marriage when she was having problems. It was her desire to get a divorce because things were not working out, he said. As for her brother deporting her, he said it is not his right.

“Her brother has no right to deport her. She must approach the Saudi authorities since her brother is Saudi,” he said.

Noor’s brother, who is in his late 40s, expressed his dissatisfaction with and disapproval of her “actions and attitude” when asked about his decision of deporting her to Yemen.

“What do you think of someone who divorced her husband and now wants to work? You women, what do you think?” said Noor’s brother in a coarse, shrill voice. “She not only is guilty, but she’s responsible for all her actions.”

Noor stopped school prior to getting married. She studied through the sixth grade. Due to her determination and a little computer skills, she managed to land jobs with advertising and print agencies and charitable institutions. But when her iqama expired, no one was interested anymore in employing her.

“I don’t want money. I want someone to give me an identity. I’m one of this country’s citizens,” said Noor, trembling with anguish. “I’ve been patient for so long. I didn’t do anything to deserve this.”

See how merciful muslims are to their own people? If I had enough money I would sponsor her here in the US.

Huge Bomb Lab Found in Mosque

(IsraelNN.com) Hamas terrorists in Kalkilya built a large supply of bombs and stored them in a local mosque without raising suspicion from local Palestinian Authority armed forces who represent the rival Fatah faction. However, the terrorists were out of luck on Wednesday, Passover eve, when a simple electric shortage gave away their plans.

The shortage caused a small fire in the mosque, bringing PA forces to the building, where they found bombs ready for use and large cannisters of bomb-making materials. The mosque was closed down, and PA sappers removed the explosives.

The bombs were then turned over to the IDF, which sent experts to detonate the weapons in a controlled explosion.

A captain in the PA forces told Israeli journalists that the mosque had been used to both produce and store the bombs. “It was a huge weapons lab,” he said.

Four people have been arrested in connection to the incident, he said, two of them members of Hamas and two “everyday citizens.”

Kalkilya and surrounding villages have been the source of several recent attacks on Israeli citizens. Two Israelis were wounded in rock attacks in the past month when driving in the area, and other rock and firebomb attacks on vehicles have been reported.

Kalkilya is located just minutes from the Israeli city of Kfar Saba and the Trans-Israel highway.

However, due to the Judea and Samaria security barrier, Kalkilya terrorists have largely turned away from attacking Israelis in those areas, and have focused on harming Jews in Samaria.

Why do we insist on treating mosques like a holy place or some kind of church? A mosque is a political house with the koran as its holy book. They are houses of hate.

CHILD MARRIAGE, SHARIAH BEATINGS IN AL FAROOQ MOSQUE IN NASHVILLE TENNESSEE Young Child (7 years old) Mentions her Husband - Sexual abuse/Pedophilia

We here in the US need to understand that mosque, communittee center and youth center are all the same. They are mosques.

There is a first-hand undercover investigation being done in Al-Farooq mosque in Nashville, TN. What has been exposed is unthinkable. This is video footage of a first-hand undercover investigation done in Al-Farooq mosque. Listen to a 7 year old talk about her husband and how they are beaten during shariah class. The video is just the sound, as these kids are in tremendous danger and the undercover person inside needed to hide the camera deeply. We are working on the sound quality. Appeals court rules Philadelphia cop can't wear headscarf

Anti-dhimmi alert from here in the US?

A Muslim woman who works as a Philadelphia Police officer Wednesday lost her court fight to be allowed to wear her head scarf while on duty.

The Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that granting Kimberlie Webb an exception to a regulation banning religious symbols while in uniform would impose an "undue hardship" on the city of Philadelphia.

Webb, a Philadelphia cop since 1995, requested permission in February 2003 to wear her head scarf while on duty. She was denied that permission, and filed complaints with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

In August 2003, Webb showed up to work wearing her head scarf. When she refused to remove it, she was sent home. This was repeated on two additional days.

"There is a history of allowing palms in police cars on Palm Sunday," said Jeffrey Pollock, Webb's lawyer. "[Washington,] D.C., New York City and Chicago all allow officers to wear religious symbols.

Symbols, not religious garments. There is no equating, say, a scapular or necklace with the utter non-subtlety of a hijab.

"Why can't the Philadelphia Police make the exception?"

In October 2005, Webb brought a lawsuit against the city, claiming religious and sex discrimination.

The court's opinion said that "uniform requirements are crucial to the safety of officers (so that the public will be able to identify officers as genuine, based on their uniform appearance)."

Not only that, but as explained here, the hijab endangers the officer in that it could be grabbed in a struggle. Moreover, the uniform is intended to be religiously neutral -- logical under the separation of church and state -- and representative of the impartiality of the law, and equal protection under it. Superimposing other garments upon a uniform spoils that neutrality, and -- again -- the purpose of having a uniform.

The appeals court also declined to consider Constitutional issues brought up by Pollock. Those issues were not raised at trial, so the court did not have to consider them, according to the opinion of the three-judge panel.

A lower court already had ruled that the city would suffer undue hardship if it were required to accommodate Webb's request.

"I respect [the judges], but I'm obviously disappointed," Pollock said.

Pollock said that no decision has been made about whether to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Again they are pushing their ways on us. They will push and push and push. It may only seem like a small thing at the time. But once you see the big picture it is frightening.

You have muslims that refuse to drive a person with alcohol in taxis, they also won't pick up people with seeing eye dogs, they want muslim holidays, they want breaks when they "need" to pray, they won't touch a package of bacon when working in a grocery store, they won't load beer in warehouses, they want prayer time in schools, they want foot baths everywhere, they want special accomodations in gyms both public and on school campuses, and on and on and on.

Illinois: Islam "insulted" by alleged child killer's mug shot, says husband

Yes, but what does he think of the crime?

Was Islam "insulted" by the child killing?
The police booking photo of alleged child killer Nour Hadid released Tuesday is an "insult against our religion," says Hadid's husband, Alaeddin.

Orland Park police detectives say the 26-year-old Muslim woman was treated as any other suspect in a murder probe would be, and they did not intend to humiliate her when they photographed her Sunday without her headscarf and wearing only a skimpy top.
So that is what they are hiding under those bags? I would make my wife wear one too.

Nour Hadid is accused of beating her 2-year-old niece Bhia Hadid to death over four days at her home on the 9000 block of West 140th Street. The child had 55 separate bruises and was beaten "from head to toe," according to prosecutors, who say Hadid confessed.

But Alaeddin Hadid - who insists his wife is innocent

She confessed; see below.

- said Orland Park police are "really going to be in big trouble" for releasing the woman's booking photo to the news media after she was charged with first-degree murder.

The Hadids are Muslims and Nour "never leaves the home without covering up," said Alaeddin, who's vowed to sue.

By custom, some practicing Muslim women wear the hijab, or headscarf, and cover their arms and legs when in public.

In the mug shot, a bare-headed and obviously emotional Nour appears to be protecting her modesty with her hands.

"It is against our religion; we do not do this in our culture," Alaeddin said.

"People have been calling me about this all day."...

Orland Park police Cmdr. Chuck Doll said the mug shot was taken "for identification purposes" before Hadid made her confession. Her headscarf was handed back to her after the photo was taken, Doll said.

"A matron was with her at all times while she was in our custody," Doll said. A matron is a law enforcement official who works with women held in custody. "She was wearing a tank top, and she had the headscarf when she was interviewed."

The headscarf later was taken from her after she made suicide threats, he said.

A sobbing Hadid appeared without the headscarf at the Bridgeview courthouse Tuesday and is being held without bail at the Cermak Medical Center at the Cook County Jail, where she remains on suicide watch.

Police have said her husband's possible involvement in Bhia's death still is under investigation....

And -- surprise, surprise! -- here come the unindicted co-conspirators:

Islamic advocacy groups seem wary of taking up Hadid's cause.

Spokesmen for the Council on Islamic American Relations, the Islamic Society of North America and the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation all declined to comment Thursday.

But Dr. Mohammed Sahloul, chairman of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Chicago, said that while police should follow the usual procedures with all defendants, "they should respect the modesty of the accused."

Sahloul, who made it clear he was not aware of the Hadid case and was speaking in general terms about the hijab, pointed out that Muslim women are allowed to wear hijabs in photos for their state IDs.

"If it's for the purposes of identification and they cover in public, then that's going to be more effective in identifying them anyway," he said.

Former chairman Kareem Irfan said, "It's particularly humiliating because she appears to be in her underwear.

Isn't it more humiliating to have murdered a toddler?
"I don't condone what she's alleged to have done.

Of course not. But it isn't what you're focusing upon, is it?

"But if it was a nun accused of these crimes, would they treat her the same way?"
First a nun would not beat a child to death. This muslim woman is a cold blooded murderer. She beat a two year old child to death. Why? Did she lose her virginity? Was she promiscuous? Probably not. So, what could this child possible have done to warrent this? She was treated like any other person that was arrested. Why do muslims need special treatment? Oh, that's right, muslims are the best people on the Earth. It says so in their holy book the koran.

Top US general apologizes to Afghan leaders, says he'll study Qur'an

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) -- The top U.S. general in Afghanistan reached out to influential Afghan tribesmen in regions where U.S. troops will soon deploy, apologizing for past mistakes and saying he is now studying the Quran, the Muslim holy book.

Gen. David McKiernan met with villagers in Helmand and Kandahar -- two of Afghanistan's most violent provinces -- in an attempt to foster good will ahead of the U.S. troop surge that will send 21,000 more forces here this summer to stem an increasingly violent Taliban insurgency.

McKiernan said he wanted to show respect to tribal elders by traveling to Kandahar on Wednesday to explain some of the mistakes U.S. forces have made in the past -- such as arresting people based on information taken from one side in a tribal fight, or killing civilians during operations.

''I'm trying to connect to the local population in a bottom-up way and try to explain what the new U.S. strategy means and why they're going to see an increased force presence where they live,'' McKiernan said during the trip to Kandahar aboard the seven passenger jet he flies in....

''I'm reading a very good book now about this part of the world. It's written in English, but it's all about you -- it's the Quran,'' McKiernan said to applause. Moments later an Afghan man stood up and gave McKiernan a bright purple, red and green cloth in which to wrap the translated version of holy book....

I do agree that this general needs to read AND UNDERSTAND the koran, the terrorist training manual. He needs to know what makes them tick. I personally have done this and find it a frightening book. It speaks very little about the believers, but speaks at great length about the unbelievers. It speaks of how us kafir are the worst kind of people, that the believers are not to take an unbeliever as a friend, etc. Everyone in the West needs to read this hatefilled book.

Obama aide discovers that OBL-surrogate is a "terrible man"

Regardless, "although his 'justice' is brutal, many of his actions were also popular" among Pakistanis, i.e., U.S. "friends-and-allies." "Terror plot: Baitullah Mehsud profile," by Richard Holbrooke for the Telegraph, April 10:

Baitullah Mehsud, leader of the Pakistan Taliban, is a "terrible man" according to President Obama's special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, .Which is why the US state department last month offered a $5 million dollar reward for information leading to his capture.Pennies, considering that ten times that much wasn't enough to capture Osama.

The reward was a rite of passage for Mehsud, reflecting his rise from a small tribal leader in North Waziristan, close to the Afghan border, to the leader of all Taliban forces in Pakistan, and now allegedly the greatest individual threat to Pakistan's survival.
He emerged as a leader in 2004 when he launched a series of attacks against the Pakistan Army and gangsters who had been terrorising local tribesmen.

He was formally appointed 'Emir' of Waziristan by Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar, to whom he has pledged allegiance, and in 2005 pulled off a spectacular coup by forcing the Pakistan government to sign a peace deal.

The government paid $500,000 as 'compensation' to Mehsud's commanders, knowing it would be used to repay debts to al Qaeda.

The deal quickly collapsed, but it allowed al Qaeda's leadership to rebuild its global headquarters in tribal areas under Mehsud's control, and gave him space to extend his reign of terror.

Although his 'justice' is brutal, many of his actions were also popular, including the murder of criminals who were hung from lamp-posts. Opponents were sent 1,000 rupee notes and a needle and thread for it to be stitched into their funeral shrouds, and within 24 hours many were dead.

He now has more than 20,000 fighters, and Osama bin Laden's son has trained as a commander under his wing...
And our muslim president wants to make nice with these types of people.

Tiny Horse Trains as Guide for Blind Muslim Woman

DEARBORN, Mich. — Mona Ramouni seems more nervous than Cali as they ride the rattling bus to work for the first time.

"You're a good girl, you're OK, you're OK," Ramouni says softly, stroking Cali — a 3-year-old former show horse that stands about 2 1/2 feet tall, weighs about 125 pounds and has trained since November to become Ramouni's guide.

Ramouni lost her sight to retinopathy of prematurity shortly after birth. She relies on her family to guide her around the Detroit suburbs where she's lived, studied and worked for all of her 28 years.

She wants more independence, but a traditional guide dog isn't an option. Many Muslims consider dogs unclean, and Ramouni, an observant Sunni, respects her Jordanian-born parents' aversion to having a dog in the home where she lives along with three of her six siblings.
The answer, she hopes, is Cali, short for Mexicali Rose.

"I want a horse that will be a partner for the next 30 or so years. This is a really awesome little horse ... and what I really want is to be able to take her places and go places with her that neither of us ever would have been able to do without each other," Ramouni says.
While most Muslims believe dogs can violate ritual purity, horses are seen as "regal animals," says Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relation's Michigan chapter.

Still, "there would be concerns about bringing a horse into certain establishments and areas of worship as well," he says.

There are only a handful of the miniature animals trained as guides for the blind in the United States. Cali's trainer, Dolores Arste, knows of five others.

"Taking on a horse as a guide is a huge commitment, same as a dog but with more physical needs," Arste, 61, says. "It is not a novelty. It is a real working animal."

Dogs are unclean to muslims so she needs a 125 pound horse. That would be fine but the picture shows her on the bus with the horse. That is a huge animal for the people on the bus to have to deal with. If she just walked down the street with it, I would have no real problem.
