Residents: Hamas Militants Staged Attacks from Cover of UN School

GAZA CITY, Gaza (AP) - Residents of a Gaza neighborhood areconfirming Israel's claim that Hamas militants had opened fire fromthe cover of a U.N. school where hundreds of Palestinians hadsought refuge.

Israeli forces fired back with mortars, and hospital officialssays three dozen Palestinians were killed.

Two residents say a group of militants had fired their mortarsfrom a street near the school, then fled into a crowd of people inthe streets. The Israeli army says two of the dead were militants.It accuses Gaza's Hamas rulers of "cynically" using civilians ashuman shields.

Gaza health officials say a total of 70 Palestinians have beenkilled today, with just two confirmed as militants. A top U.N.officials is calling for an investigation into the mountingcivilian death toll.

Meanwhile, Israeli ground forces have been edging closer to twomajor towns in Gaza, despite international criticism over civiliandeaths and diplomatic efforts to broker a cease-fire.

There is also video of the palestinians firing on Israelis from the school. What is the IDF supposed to do? Just let the arabs keep shooting? NOPE, kill them. Everyone of them. They are martyrs in the eyes of the muslims anyway. Besides kill them young you have less to kill later.

General Ahmed Shujaa Pasha's words should be sent to Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the organization that is trying to criminalize what it calls "defamation of Islam," including honest analysis of the ideology and beliefs of Islamic terrorists, at the United Nations and in the West. After all, if Mullah Omar and the Taliban should "be allowed to think and say what they please," and if their belief that "jihad is their obligation" is a matter of "freedom of opinion," isn't it likewise true that anti-jihadists should also be allowed to think and say what they please? After all, they believe that resisting jihad is their obligation. Isn't that freedom of opinion?

My freedom of opinion is that all muslims need to be killed. They are the ones causing the most violence in the world. Look at any part of the world that is at war and will find muslims on one or both sides. We need to just let them kill each other and weaken the house of islam. This way when we have to deal the final blow, there will be less of them to kill.

IDF unveils Hamas map seized in Gaza

Soldiers from the Paratrooper's Brigade operating in the northern Gaza Strip uncovered a map prepared by Hamas that shows how the terror group prepared for the IDF's incursion by deploying different types of bombs as well as snipers throughout the town of al-Atatra.

The map is handwritten and is based on a bird's-eye view of the town, likely taken from Google Maps. On the map, Hamas split up the town into three different sectors - red, blue and green. On the map, Hamas highlighted several important sites such as mosques, a gas station and a fuel depot.
"Inside the map, the terrorists also marked sniper positions, as well as the location of roadside bombs, anti-tank bombs and landmines," Chief Intelligence Officer Brig.-Gen. Yuval Halamish said Thursday.

The map was discovered by soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade during operations in al-Atatra and was translated in the field and used by the troops to avoid casualties.
Halamish said that the map showed how Hamas does not hesitate to use civilian infrastructure for its terrorist activity. On the map, a brown dot is marked next to a mosque representing a nearby sniper position.

"This is a civilian area and you can see on the map how Hamas booby-trapped the entrance to homes in order to hit the IDF," Halamish said. In another case, a large explosive device was marked on the map next to a gas station. Had it been detonated it would have likely destroyed the gas station as well, killing and wounding civilians who live in the area....

The muslims in Gaza had alot of time to dig tunnels, set booby traps, and fortify buildings. They also use their own people as human shields. They cry about it in the world media, but they portray them as martyrs in the arab muslim world. So, I say just kill them.
