MIDEAST: AL-QAEDA BEHIND WEST BANK STRIKE, DEBKA SAYS

TEL AVIV, MARCH 17 - Al-Qaeda was probably behind the attack carried out in Massuà (West Bank) two days ago, in which two Israeli police officers were killed by attackers who then disappeared without trace. According to an Israeli news website specialising in intelligence issues, Debkafile, a leaflet claiming responsibility for the attack and listing numerous details about the course of events, was distributed in the West Bank and Jordan yesterday. According to Debka, the leaflet was signed by a hitherto unknown group: 'The Brigades of the showdown in Jerusalem', which claims to be the armed wing of Al-Quaeda in the West Bank and to be preparing further attacks. Debka finds it noteworthy that the attack and distribution of the leaflets coincided with the release of a new audio cassette by Osama Bin Laden. The attack had already been claimed by another mystery group, "Imad Mughniyeh Group', but Israeli security services commented that this appeared to be a bogus claim. (ANSAmed).

Israel has a real problem now. It is about time to expell every last arab from all of Israel, Gaza, Judea and Sumaria. Citizens or not.

Cops rape 3 ladies in custody

KUWAIT CITY : Two securitymen employed at the Immigration Department have allegedly raped three women - two Filipinas and an Ethiopian.

According to security sources, the suspects arrested the three women, who had been accused of running away from their sponsors. The women were detained at the department.

On Tuesday, the other police officers heard the women screaming for help. When asked about the commotion, the women told police the suspects — with the ranks of Sergeant Major and First Sergeant — raped them Monday night.A case was registered against the suspects who, along with the women, were referred to the Criminal Evidences Department for interrogation.

This is the religion on peace at work.

Hilali kicks door, blames vandals

AUSTRALIA'S most controversial sheik, Taj Din al-Hilali, has been caught on videotape kicking in a door at his own mosque before calling police to report an act of vandalism.

The head imam at the Lakemba mosque, who caused outrage in 2006 by comparing scantily clad women to uncovered meat, was shown on a CCTV security tape kicking open the door just minutes before reporting the incident.

The Nine Network's A Current Affair last night broadcast the videotape from March 9, showing the incident, which Sheik Hilali initially denied.

"There is a trick in this camera. There is a trick in this film," he told ACA.

But in a letter sent by Sheik Hilali's lawyers to ACA yesterday, he admitted kicking the door, saying the damage had already been done to the door before he kicked it.

"What he did do was to kick open a door to the mosque that had already been damaged by others in order to gain entry to it," the letter said.

Lebanese Muslim Association president Shawky Kassir said they had called the police "for a little problem, but we have fixed (it) and everything is under control".

The footage shows four young men locking the door behind them at 10.28pm.

Nine minutes later, Sheik Hilali checks the lock and pushes on the top of the door, bending it on its hinges. After checking the corridor, he disappears from view before rushing towards it and kicking it open at 10.46pm.

It is understood the name of the suspected culprit was put forward to NSW police, but it is not known if he was interviewed by the authorities.

A NSW Police media spokesperson said they started to investigate the matter but three days later were told by a mosque official that he did not wish to take the matter any further.

"The matter remains under investigation. Further senior members of the local community will be consulted to discuss the incident."

This is not uncommon. Some muslim woman at a college woman reported a "hate crime" against her and had the whole campus in an uproar. She was lying. She was arrested.

The war on "man-caused disasters"

We're not fighting a War On Terror anymore. And we certainly aren't fighting a defensive action against the global jihad and/or Islamic supremacism. No, what we're doing is fighting a War on "man-caused disasters."

Feel better? Feel more politically correct? Less bigoted, racist, and Islamophobic? Good, because that's all you're going to get from this. You certainly aren't going to get any insight into who the enemy is, or why he (or she, Janet, you sexist) is doing what he is doing.

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?

Napolitano: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

No, this is PC lingo. Having abandoned the idiotic but at least somewhat bellicose moniker "War on Terror," we are now into, what...the "Intervention into Man-Caused Disaster."

Of course, there are two PC problems with the "nuance" Mzzz Napolitano claims.

There is that pesky term "man"--sure to rile the feminists, let alone the female suicide bombers. Brace for the day when Secretary Janet discusses "Person-Caused Disasters."

But that leaves the fact that the kind of "persons" who cause the "disasters" in question believe that Allah, not man (and certainly not woman) causes everything. Remember Operation Infinite Justice? That was the name the US tagged onto the military campaign against the Taliban until Muslims complained (p. 166) on the grounds that they believe only Allah dispenses justice, infinite or otherwise. (And that was enough for Uncle Sam to changes names, natch.) This line of religious belief surely makes "Man/Person-Caused Disaster" practically a term of defamation. I'm thinking Madame Secretary will have to go with something else, maybe renaming the whole agency for futher sensitivity's sake. Department for the Prevention of Allah-Caused Disasters, anyone?

JEDDAH: Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal yesterday denounced propaganda by certain westernized Muslims that Islam and Islamic values are the reason for the backwardness of the community.

“Islam, on the contrary, is a religion of progress, civilization, justice, equality and freedom,” the governor told students and faculty members of King Abdulaziz University while giving a lecture on Saudi moderation.

“A Saudi youth nowadays finds himself caught between two forms of extremism — each ideology tries to take him to its side leaving him confused and in need of knowing who he is and what his culture stands for,” he said.

He means the global jihad and the West -- note the moral equivalence.

“Moderation is the way of life of a progressive Arab Muslim. Society in this country firmly and confidently says ‘no’ to extremism and westernization and ‘yes’ to moderation in thinking, politics, economics and culture,” he said.

Prince Khaled also announced a plan to establish an academic chair — entitled Al-Faisal Chair for Deepening Saudi Moderation — at the university...

All muslims are backwards. Not one muslim country that does not have oil is productive. They believe that the only thing they need it the koran, the terrorist training manual. It is oh so logical.

Johnny Taliban to begin enjoying a "gradual easing of restrictions"

Thanks in part to Obama's nominee to lead the Justice Department's Civil Division. "Prison Officials Are Loosening Restrictions on Taliban Supporter."

Prison officials are easing restrictions on John Walker Lindh, the Californian captured by U.S. forces in Afghanistan who became known as the "American Taliban," according to government documents.

Among other changes, officials are expanding the number of people who can contact Lindh, who is serving a 20-year prison term without possibility of parole in a medium-security prison in Terre Haute, Ind.

Lindh pleaded guilty more than six years ago to charges of supporting the Taliban and carrying a rifle and two hand grenades onto the battlefield in Afghanistan, where radicals fought the Northern Alliance aligned with U.S. forces.

In late 2001, images of a dirty, dreadlocked Lindh wounded by a shot to the leg and being carried on a stretcher captivated the public and set off waves of speculation about the first American citizen apprehended while fighting alongside the Taliban.

Lindh's relatives depicted him as a misguided youth who fell victim to bad influences. His case later became a cause celebre for human rights groups that sought without success to overturn his prison sentence. Lindh's parents asked President George W. Bush to commute their son's prison sentence, but Bush rejected the request in one of his final acts in office in January.

According to a Justice Department document, all "special administrative measures" in place against Lindh will expire Friday as part of a gradual easing of restrictions on the 28-year-old. Prosecutors in Virginia and FBI officials approved the move, the document said.[...]

D. Anthony West, President Obama's nominee to lead the Justice Department's Civil Division, also assisted in Lindh's defense. The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on West last week but has not scheduled a vote on his nomination.

Defenders of Muslim cleric who married 12-year-old say the marriage was "legal under Islam"

Last August, a 43-year-old Muslim cleric, Pujiono Cahyo Widianto (aka Sheik Puji), married 12-year-old junior high school student Lutfiana Ulfa (pic) as his second wife.

Although Sheik Puji's supporters claimed the marriage was legal under Islam, outraged civic groups in Indonesia protested the violation of state law which sets the minimum age for marriage at 16 for females.

Consequently, Sheik Puji was arrested yesterday for allegedly breaching the child protection law.
According to Semarang Police Detective Royhardi Siahann, Widianto faces a possible 15 years in prison for the sexual and economic exploitation of a child.

Not only are muslims all terrorists, they are pediphiles. But that is OK, it is in their "holy" book.
