Jimmy Carter: "Israel using disproportionate force in Gaza"

Former President Jimmy Carter said Thursday that Israel's operation in Gaza has been disproportionate to rocket attacks on Israel but could result in new efforts for a long-term Middle East peace plan.

Carter told The Associated Press in a phone interview Thursday that although animosity toward Israel in the Arab world "has probably increased dramatically," there may be renewed interest among European leaders in finding a peaceful settlement.

The former president also expressed hope the incoming administration in the US would take a more active role in negotiations. Carter said he discussed the issues with President-elect Barack Obama in a meeting this week, but would not disclose what Obama said.

The worst president in US history has opened his mouth again. The anti-semite in charge says that Israel is using disproportionate force in Gaza. I have an idea. How about if Israel just fires a rocket or mortar willy nilly into Gaza for every rocket that they fire into Israel? Oh wait, they are doing it. Now they are just doing it all at one time, but they are not targeting civilians. I personally think they should just retake the Gaza and expel every arab from all of Israel, or just kill all muslims.
