India: Muslim shoots 8-year-old girl for spraying colored powder on him in celebration of Hindu festival

Holi, the Festival of Colors, is a popular Hindu festival that people celebrate by sprinkling others with colored powder. But as we have documented many times here, Muslims don't look kindly upon infidel celebrations: fatwas go out annually warning Muslims not to celebrate Christmas or offer Christians Christmas greetings, not to celebrate Valentine's Day, etc. It is likely that Mohammed Rashid thought that by being sprayed with colors he was being tainted with Hindu idolatry, and so he struck out against the infidel offender. "O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)" -- Qur'an 9:123.

Shahdol: An eight-year-old girl was on Wednesday allegedly shot at and injured by a person apparently peeved with her for spraying colour at him on the occasion of Holi at Parmaniya Khurd village in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh.

Shelly Gupta was hurt in both legs when fisherman Mohammed Rashid of Singpur village allegedly opened fire with his gun at a group of children celebrating Holi as they sprayed him with colours, Kotwali police station in-charge Vijay Pratap Singh said. She was admitted to the Shahdol district hospital where her condition was stated to be out of danger.

Hearing gunshots, villagers gathered at the spot and beat up Rashid before handing him over to the police. A case has been registered against the accused.

"We have been in discussion with a number of our friends, allies and partners around the world on the detainee issue," State Department spokesman Gordon Duguid said Friday.

President Obama has said he wants the detainee camp in the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, closed within a year.

Bin Laden: Gaza offensive is a "holocaust"

CAIRO (AP) — Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called Israel's offensive on Gaza a "holocaust" and blamed Arab leaders for not doing enough to stop the fighting in his latest audio recording aired on Al-Jazeera.

Bin Laden accused some Arab countries of "collaborating" with Israel on the offensive earlier this year that killed about 1,300 Palestinians in Gaza. He did not name any specific Arab countries in the brief audio recording played on Al-Jazeera Saturday.

The Arabic satellite network did not say how it obtained the recording, and the authenticity of the tape could not be verified.

It was the latest message from the terror leader since an audio message on Gaza in January. In that message, he urged Muslims to launch a jihad against Israel.

KALAMAZOO -- Islam does not promote terrorism, was the message delivered Friday by Western Michigan University's Muslim Students Association during a presentation on ``The Truth About Islam'' at the university's Bernhard Center.

It was a response to Tuesday's Miller Auditorium presentation by two self-proclaimed ex-terrorists.

The speakers at Tuesday's event, Kamal Saleem and Walid Shoebat, had a message of hate and racism, Friday's audience was told.

``They are trying to show that these (Muslims) who are living with them are someone you should hate,'' said Marwan Tabbara, adviser to the Muslim Students Association. ``As an institution, WMU should have not allowed this message'' to be spread in the university community.

Tabbara challenged the audience to find a passage in the Quran, the Islamic holy doctrine, which says people should commit acts of terror.

``This is an open challenge until the end of time,'' Tabbara said to a classroom-sized audience....

All you need to do is open the koran and read it. It spends more time on how the non-believers are the worst kind of people and how to treat them. It tells the believers to not take as friends the un-believers. It tells of how to convert a person to islam. First you invite them to islam. If they refuse, you offer them to pay the jizya, the muslim tribute tax. This is paid to the believers in a submissive way. It is to provide muslim "protection". In other words you pay not to be killed. If you refuse to pay the jizya, they are to make jihad against you and kill you. Wonderful ideology. This is what the muslims of the world believe and expect. Hezbollah chief rejects U.S. condition to acknowledge state of Israel

BEIRUT, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah chief Hasan Nasrallah on Friday rejected the U.S. condition to start talks with Hezbollah if it acknowledges the state of Israel, the party's TV station Al-Manar reported.

"The U.S. condition of acknowledging Israel to open dialogue with us is rejected," Nasrallah told crowds of Shiite Moslems gathered in the southern suburbs of Beirut this evening to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed.

"As long as Hezbollah exists, the generations of our people could never acknowledge the state of Israel which is a hostile terrorist entity," Nasrallah vowed.

He said that the U.S. set two conditions to start talks with Hezbollah, "acknowledging Israel and abandoning violence," and what they meant by abandoning violence is giving up the resistance.

"The resistance is our dignity, our honor and our existence," he stressed.

He added that the U.S. wants to start talks because all its plans in the region have failed, "they could not submit Syria despite the siege they imposed, and Iran grew stronger," he said.

The U.S. does not want to start dialogue "for moral reasons," but because its main objective is the acknowledgment of the state of Israel.

Nasrallah said "if we believe that we are strong, and we put our hands together, we can defeat this (Israeli) entity and eliminate it from existing."

He added that if the U.S. is backing Israel, "God is backing us, and was backing us during the July war and Gaza war."

The Lebanese Shiite armed group Hezbollah fought a devastating 34-day war with Israel in July 2006, and vowed to keep its arms to resist Israel as long as the latter poses a threat in the region.

Court Expected to Nix Law that Keeps Arabs from Flooding Israel

Two organizations in Israel are working hand in hand trying to strike down a law that will eventually end the Jewish majority in Israel. If the law is struck down Israel will become flooded by its enemies who will now have an opening to obtain citizenship. The oraganizations involved are The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel which sounds like their equivalent to CAIR and The Association for Civil Rights in Israel The Association for Civil Rights in Israel which is like our ACLU. Will those on the left ever understand that some cultures/religions just cannot coexist with others?

The law was passed in order to stem the flood of “Palestinian” Arabs who entered Israel from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and from enemy Arab countries and received Israeli citizenship by marrying Arabs who already possessed Israeli citizenship.

The High Court has heard the appeal against the law in the past and struck it down by a one-vote margin. On Sunday, however, the High Court will convene in a seven-member panel headed by Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch to hear the petition again, and this time it is expected to rule in favor of striking down the law.

According to demographic expert Arnon Sofer, if the court annuls the law, hundreds of thousands of Arabs within the Middle East will marry family members in Israel and gradually erase the Jewish majority in Israel.

Cumberland County Jail Changing Rules for Muslims

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Maine's courts and the Cumberland County Jail are modifying their rules regarding head coverings in order to accommodate the practices of Muslims and people of other faiths.

Under the new policy, defendants, inmates and visitors will no longer be required to remove scarves or other head coverings that are required by religious custom.

That obligation has come into conflict with security concerns and cultural standards that prevail in many of the nation's courts and prisons.

With the growth of the nation's Muslim communities, pressure to allow head coverings has increased. Some other states and the federal justice system have already modified their rules.

Hats have historically been forbidden inside the Cumberland County Jail, where inmates are issued pants and shirts of yellow, orange or blue depending on the security risk they present. To address concerns about security, the jail has contracted with a vendor to provide head coverings that meet jail security standards, Sheriff Mark Dion said.

Why are we even worrried about these people? They are in jail. They have no rights. I will bet they already serve halal food to the prisoners. I just don't get it. Why are we worried about this one group of people so much?

Mideast: Rights activists face torture and repression, says Amnesty

London, 11 March (AKI) - Human rights activists in the Middle East and North Africa still face the prospect of persecution, torture and repression for defending others, according to a new report by Amnesty International released on Wednesday. The report entitled 'Challenging Repression' looked at 20 countries on the region and said Iran, Syria and Egypt were among those that adopted a harsh response to human rights. "

Governments should be heralding the crucial role of human rights defenders in promoting and defending universal rights," said Malcolm Smart, director of the Middle East and North Africa.

"Instead, too often, they brand them as subversives or trouble-makers and use oppressive means to impede their activities. People are languishing in jails across the region simply for peacefully exercising their right to expression, association or assembly."

Amnesty said unfair trials that hand down severe punishments are carried out by courts in Syria and Egypt, which cite decades-long states of emergency, while online bloggers and Egyptian Coptic Christians are also subjected to harassment.

The report said any peaceful acts or expression deemed critical of Syrian authorities can be suppressed under a decree that penalises opposition to the socialist system or state.

"These offences can be punished by sentences ranging from imprisonment with hard labour to death," said Amnesty.

In Iran vague offences such as "insult", "slander", "dissemination of false information", and "anti-state propaganda" are routinely used to silence human rights activists, the report said.

Amnesty also said Jewish, Christian, Zoroastrian and Bahai communities suffered discrimination "in law and practice"."A climate of fear and repression prevails in Iran," said the report.

The scary part it that the muslims have a human rights council in the UN. They are trying to stop people from discussing anything about islam and its hatred. And to be totally honest about this subject of the activists being tortured and repressed, I dont feel bad for any of them. If they are from another country, what the hell are you doing there? A Muslim fundamentalist leader today told of his vision of Britain under Sharia law.
Anjem Choudary said he wanted the “flag of Allah” flying over Downing Street, all women wearing burkas and caning for drunkenness.

He is the leader of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, founded as a successor to the banned fundamentalist sect al-Muhajiroun, which was led by now-exiled preacher Omar Bakri Muhammad.

The self-proclaimed Sharia judge admitted his followers had organised protests against British soldiers in Luton this week, waving placards which called them “murderers” for their conduct in Iraq.

Mr Choudary, a 41-year-old lawyer, said he was proud to be reviled. “It's inevitable that when you offer an alternative morality and way of life many people will hate you for it.”

He said this “alternative morality” would mean “a pure Islamic state with Sharia law in Britain” and added: “Every woman, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, would have to wear a traditional burka and cover everything apart from her face and hands in public.”

“In matters to do with the judicial system and the penal code, one male witness is sufficient to counter the testimony of two females. People who commit adultery would be stoned to death.”

Mr Choudary, a father of three, admitted he lived off benefits despite objecting to the British state. He rejected suggestions of hypocrisy, saying: “I don't think it's of any importance.”

On March 9, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on one of Barack Obama's latest nominees. This time it was to assess the suitability of Tony West, Obama's nominee for the assistant attorney general in charge of the U.S. Justice Department's Civil Division. Things went "smoothly" according to the San Jose Mercury News, also publishing a nice bio of West. The Washington Post merely mentioned the hearing was "notable." Similarly the East Bay Express simply makes mention of the hearing having occurred. Apparently there was nothing of interest in West’s nomination.

Curiously enough, though, not one of these brief reports mention that Tony West was "American Taliban" terrorist John Walker Lindh's defense lawyer. Another key bit of info left out of these announcements was that Tony West raised $65 million for Obama's presidential campaign.

Money well spent if it gets a cushy government job.

In fact, for many of us, it took James Lileks to remind us all that West was Lindh's lawyer (H/T HotAir.com). It took Lileks because none of the media bothered to make the connection.

As Lileks says, West was a pretty good lawyer. Did well for his client. Made the case as a good defense lawyer should that his client is innocent and, in this case, not a terrorist. Maybe West is a perfectly competent lawyer?

But here is the main point. This appointment of a terrorist's defense lawyer to the Department of Justice announces that Barack Obama is in favor of a more lenient stance on terrorists. As Lileks says, it is evidence of a going back to 9/10 thinking. Also, since the Old Media have not made a single peep about this, it announces to the world that neither the crimes of 9/11 nor terrorism are any longer of interest to those that make the news. Says Lileks, "It just seems like one of those things that might have stuck out, once upon a time."...

It's an Orwellian text that distorts the meaning of human rights, free speech, and religious freedom, and marks a giant step backwards for liberty and democracy worldwide.

The first to suffer will be moderate Muslims in the countries that are behind this resolution, like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan, who seek international legitimacy for state-sanctioned blasphemy laws that stifle religious freedom and outlaw conversions from Islam to other faiths.
Next to suffer from this U.N.-sanctioned McCarthyism will be writers and journalists in the democratic West, with the resolution targeting the media for the "deliberate stereotyping of religions, their adherents and sacred persons."

Ultimately, it is the very notion of individual human rights at stake, because the sponsors of this resolution seek not to protect individuals from harm, but rather to shield a specific set of beliefs from any question, debate, or critical inquiry.

Kabul police commander: Taliban at city gates

The report blames low wages for police for the corruption and security risks in Kabul; while that may be a contributing factor, no amount of money will un-corrupt a corrupt official. That becomes a particular problem in higher levels of the Afghan government, which helps to explain the lack of funding for the crucial matter of Kabul's security despite the flow of foreign aid.

KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A top Taliban commander has told CNN his insurgents are poised and ready to attack Kabul and could strike virtually anywhere in the city.

It would be tempting to put this down to Taliban propaganda except one of Kabul's top cops is saying the same thing.

"We are working on a security strategy for the city and if we don't get it right, they [the Taliban] can attack at any minute, at any hour, any time," says Commander Mohammed Daud Amin, in charge of securing the Kabul district that includes the Presidential Palace and many government ministries.

Proof of the menacing threat came just last month when eight Taliban fighters, bristling with weapons and suicide vests, burst into three government buildings in the center of Kabul. [...]

With low wages comes low morale and an invitation to corruption -- Afghanistan's police are regularly accused of being on the take.

And yet their jobs couldn't be more crucial in trying to keep together the country's fragile security.

Take Kabul, a city clogged with somewhere between four and five million people -- no one knows for sure -- and traffic to match that human crush. It's not hard to see how eight Taliban fighters seemed to so easily slip into the city last month. "They used government cars with tinted glass and we have no authority to stop them" says Abdulla Mahbob, a police officer at one of Kabul's key checkpoints.

Still, coalition forces have no choice by to keep rooting for Kabul's cops. By the end of the year, NATO will hand over much of the responsibility for securing the capital to the city's police force.

And that will be a crucial test to see if this city and this country can stand on its own, even with the Taliban standing at the gate.

Brits call for crackdown on Muslims abusing returning soldiers

Not to worry, though: Akbar Dad Khan, of Luton's Building Bridges organisation assures us that, "They are about 10 to 15 hotheads. The best thing to do is just to ignore them. They do not represent the views of the community."

Politicians and families of dead soldiers have united in urging the Government to crack down on the outlawed al Muhajiroun organisation after British soldiers were abused by Muslim protestors in Luton.

The outcry over soldiers in uniform being verbally attacked has continued after a Muslim preacher who was formerly the member of a now illegal group accused them of being "cowards" and "brutal murderers".

Internet sites have been swamped with families horrified at the men of 2nd Bn The Royal Anglians being confronted with placards that branded them as killers, rapists and terrorists.

The small group of demonstrators in Luton are thought to have links with al-Muhajiroun an organisation that has been outlawed by the Government.

Patrick Mercer, MP, the former Tory Homeland Security spokesman, said the law must be "upheld" to ensure banned groups are targeted.

"If an organisation is proscribed then the government must stop it from operating publicly particularly in such an inflammatory and dangerous way," he said.

His words came after the outspoken preacher Anjem Choudary, a former member of al-Muhajiroun, posted a message on an extremist Islamic website in which he called the marchpast a "vile parade" of "brutal murderers".

The homecoming was to "demonstrate their skill at murdering and torturing thousands of innocent Muslim men, women and children", he wrote.

Mr Choudary now leads a group that wants Britain to become an Islamic state and ruled by Sharia law.

I personally would love to put a bullet in between Choudary's eyes at close range. He is a hate preacher that wants to destroy the West. Why is he allowed to do this?

UK Muslim who hurled abuse at troops has been working as airport baggage handler

A Muslim extremist who works as a baggage handler at Luton Airport had his security pass suspended today after it was revealed he took part in a protest hurling abuse at British troops.
Jalal Ahmed was among the 20-strong group of extremists protesting when the Royal Anglian Regiment returned home from Iraq earlier this week.

During their homecoming parade, he was spotted clutching a banner proclaiming: 'Anglian soldiers: Butchers of Basra'.

After he was revealed to be part of the hate-filled demonstration, his pass allowing him to go airside and work at the airport was revoked.

Ahmed, who is in his twenties and lives in Luton, works on a casual basis for Menzies Aviation, which provides baggage handling at the airport for easyJet and other airlines.

He is believed to have worked there during peak periods over the past two years and would have had access to secure areas of the site....

AMSTERDAM – Dutch police on Thursday arrested seven people suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Amsterdam, including a relative of one of the attackers who died in the 2004 bombings in Madrid.

Mayor Job Cohen said police were acting on an anonymous tip that warned an Ikea outlet or other stores in the southeast of the city might be targeted.

"It wasn't a regular bomb warning, but a warning of a planned action aimed at creating casualties in shops," Cohen said.

"Men were planning to put explosives in the shops and wanted to cause casualties in busy places," he said.

Police received the tip Wednesday night from an unregistered cell phone in Belgium. The tip also included names of one suspect and locations for police to search.

Early Thursday, authorities shut down a major Amsterdam shopping street near the ArenA soccer stadium and sealed off the nearby Ikea store. A concert by the American band "The Killers" was canceled.

District Attorney Herman Bolhaar said six men and one woman, aged 19-64, were arrested in Amsterdam. All are Dutch nationals of Moroccan ancestry.

"As far as we can tell, none involved has a history of terrorist involvement," he said at a news conference, though one suspect is related to "a person who exactly five years ago was involved in the attack in Madrid."

Police Commissioner Bernard Welten said the suspect's relative died shortly after the Madrid attacks "as a result of a suicide action."...

Grand jury convenes in FBI terror case against Minneapolis Muslims, mosque

"[I]nvestigators are trying to determine who organized the missing group of men [who went a jihading in Somalia], who financed them and how were they recruited" -- all to which their mosque cries foul play, also insisting that it is "unfair" to accuse the mosque of "facilitating in any way, shape, or form the travel of those youth." So what if mosques have a long track-record of "radicalizing" Muslims, or if Saudi Arabia influences 80% of America's mosques, or if Muslims living in the West regularly spew their hatred against all infidels and apostates in mosques?

Federal authorities are looking to bring terror-related charges against one or more Somali-Americans from the Minneapolis area, and witnesses to the case have been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury, according to a Muslim leader in the area and a woman who said she testified before the grand jury this morning.

For several months the FBI has been investigating about a dozen Somali-American men who disappeared from their homes in the Minneapolis area late last year and may have joined terrorist groups overseas. One of the men, 27-year-old Shirwa Ahmed, later blew himself up in Somalia. The FBI recently called him the first U.S. citizen to carry out a suicide bombing, and FBI Director Mueller said he was "radicalized in his hometown in Minnesota."

The FBI has interviewed at least 50 people in the Somali community and subpoenaed at least 10 people to testify before a grand jury in Minneapolis, according to Farhan Hurre, the director of the Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center in St. Paul, one of the largest mosques in the Twin Cities. He said most of those subpoenaed are students at the University of Minnesota. At least two of the men still missing were students at the University of Minnesota.

A woman who identified herself as a 20-year-old student at the University of Minnesota said she testified before the grand jury this morning, after receiving a subpoena on Friday. A copy of the subpoena obtained by Fox News says, "You are hereby commanded to appear and testify before the Grand Jury of the United States District Court." The subpoena told her to appear at 9 a.m. local time.[...]

Hurre said he was told a case has been opened against at least one unidentified person. He said authorities are now "trying to bring the pieces together of what's going on here" in Minneapolis. Specifically, he said investigators are trying to determine who organized the missing group of men, who financed them and how were they recruited.

It's unclear whether any charges would target the missing men or someone outside of the group. A spokesman for the FBI Field Office in Minneapolis declined comment. Likewise, a spokesman with the Justice Department's National Security Division said he can't confirm or deny matters relating to a possible grand jury.

The Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center has received some unwanted attention, including threatening e-mails and phone calls, after it was revealed that Ahmed and some of the other missing men had ties to the mosque. In a statement posted online, the mosque says suggestions that it had any role in the disappearance of the Somali men are "unfair" and untrue.

"Abubakar Center didn't recruit, finance, or otherwise facilitate in any way, shape, or form the travel of those youth," the statement says.

Hurre said the media attention and subsequent backlash are "destroying our community."

Last month the mosque invited the FBI to meet with community and religious leaders to discuss the missing men and other issues affecting the Somali-American community in Minnesota.

Hurre said the FBI called this morning to say they are now "ready to meet." A meeting between the FBI and the Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center is scheduled for Thursday.Now, since the FBI claims to have broken ties with CAIR, hopefully this meeting won't degenerate into a "sensitivity training" session once again.

Hurre said it will be the first meeting between the FBI and the mosque since federal authorities launched their investigation.

At a forum in Washington two weeks ago, FBI Director Robert Mueller said the trend of young men "radicalized and recruited" in the United States to take up arms overseas "in particular concerns us."

"It raises the question of whether these young men will one day come home, and, if so, what they might undertake here," he said...

If these muslims come home, we need to use racial and religious profiling. We also need to play cowboys and muslims. They are going over seas for training in the way of jihad. This is what is happening in the EU and look how well things are going there. We need to stop all muslim immigration to the US, prohibit all religious training in prison, and segregate all prisoners by muslim or not. This is a need to do. To hell with their rights, they gave them up when they got convicted.

The Kuran is full of hatred towards unbelievers. The Hadith is even worse. It goes into the gory details of the kinds of "punishments" Muhammed meted out to people for even petty offenses. Judge for yourself. Here are some of the Hadith where Muhammad shows his kindness. All of them are from Sunan Abu-Dawud (the Hadith that provides most of the Shari'a law on various punishments).

In this Hadith, Muhammad shows once again just how much he hates polytheists. It is Hadith such as this one that directly caused many Hindus to be tortured to death in the most cruel manner imaginable during the dark centuries of Islamic rule. Note that for polytheists, repenting does not save them from such a harsh fate.

Book 38, Number 4359:Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:The verse "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite side or exile from the land...most merciful" was revealed about polytheists. If any of them repents before they are arrested, it does not prevent from inflicting on him the prescribed punishment which he deserves.

Now Muhammad orders an adulterer to be stoned to death (there are many Hadith on stoning to death).

Book 38, Number 4364:Narrated Nu'aym:Ma'iz came to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and admitted (having committed adultery) four times in his presence so he ordered him to be stoned to death, but said to Huzzal: If you had covered him with your garment, it would have been better for you.

This time, Muhammad orders the hand of a petty thief chopped off.

Book 38, Number 4367:Narrated AbuUmayyah al-Makhzumi:A thief who had accepted (having committed theft) was brought to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him), but no good were found with him. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him), said to him: I do not think you have stolen. He said: Yes, I have. He repeated it twice or thrice. So he gave orders. His hand was cut off and he was then brought to him. He said: Ask Allah's pardon and turn to Him in repentance. He said: I ask Allah's pardon and turn to Him in repentance. He (the Prophet) then said: O Allah, accept his repentance.

UK jihadist protesters say they will target soldiers returning from Iraq again

Good thing the Brits didn't let Geert Wilders into the country to stir up intercommunity strife, eh?

Islamist extremists in the UK are plotting to repeat their protest of yesterday in which they held up banners labelling British troops on their homecoming parade as "cowards" and "butchers".

The Islam for the UK group, believed to be a spin-off of the extremist al-Muhajiroun, called for similar rallies against other regiments coming home following protests in Luton town centre targeting the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment.

Members of the local community in Luton claim that the protesters were members of al-Muhajiroun itself, a virulently anti-Semitic organisation which claimed to have been disbanded in 2004. Its founders replaced it with two spin-off groups, both of which were then subsequently made illegal by the Government for glorifying terrorism.

The Home Office said today that anyone found to be guilty of belonging to a banned organisation would be prosecuted, and that it was constantly reviewing whether to ban further groups emerging throughout the UK.

The group of demonstrators - who held up placards in Luton town centre with slogans including: "Anglian Soldiers: Butchers of Basra", "Anglian Soldiers: cowards, killers, extremists" and "British Government Terrorist Government" and hurled verbal abuse at passing soldiers - were described by the local MP as having brought "disgrace" to Luton.

Yet in a statement posted on its website, Islam for the UK said further protests in a similar vein were needed, labelled the British troops as "terrorists" and compared them to the Nazis. Islam for the UK is run by Anjem Choudhury, the radical preacher who was right hand man to Omar Bakri Mohammed, former al-Muhajiroun leader....

A Muslim preacher of hate today ridiculed British soldiers who were abused during a homecoming parade - branding them cowards who have an 'uncanny knack for death by friendly fire'.

Firebrand preacher Anjem Choudary praised the Muslims who had protested at yesterday's parade for the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment in Luton.

And in an inflammatory message posted on an Islamic extremist website, Choudary viciously mocked their comrade who was killed by friendly fire in Iraq.

His words came as police charged a man who allegedly shouted abuse at the Muslim anti-war protesters.

Choudary, who has links with banned Muslim cleric Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, likened the soldiers to Nazis and branded yesterday's homecoming a 'vile parade' of 'brutal murderers'.

Choudary said: 'On 10th March 2009 200 pathetic and cowardly British soldiers from the second battalion, of the Royal Anglian Regiment, pompously marched through Luton to demonstrate their skill at murdering and torturing thousands of innocent Muslim men, women and children (in Iraq) over a 24-month period.'

Choudary leads the controversial Islam For The UK organisation which wants Britain to be an Islamic state, ruled by Sharia law.

His group was formed after Bakri's fundamentalist organisation Al-Muhajiroun was banned by the Government.

He said: 'Non-Muslims in Britain must appreciate that the actions of the British soldiers must be condemned unreservedly; they are not heroes but closer to cowards who cannot fight, as their uncanny knack for death by 'friendly fire' illustrates.'...

These preachers of hate need to be thrown out of the UK. But they are so PC they will just go after the people that speak up against these muslims. The lefty loons have the West completely backwards.

Biden the Mathematician: 5% "incorrigible" Taliban + 25% on the fence = 70% "moderate"

BRUSSELS: Vice President Joe Biden said at least 70 percent of Taliban guerrillas in Afghanistan are mercenaries who could be persuaded to lay down their arms, stepping up U.S. calls for outreach to “moderate” elements of the insurgency.

Biden said the same tactics used in Anbar province in Iraq, where radical Sunni Muslims were co-opted by American financial support, could work in Afghanistan as part of President Barack Obama’s strategy for winning the war raging since 2001.

“Five percent of the Taliban is incorrigible, not susceptible to anything other than being defeated,” Biden told a press conference at North Atlantic Treaty Organization headquarters in Brussels today. “Another 25 percent or so are not quite sure, in my view, of the intensity of their commitment to the insurgency. Roughly 70 percent are involved because of the money.”

Insurgent activity in Afghanistan rose last year to the highest level since the U.S. ousted the Taliban after the Sept. 11 attacks, and coordinated suicide bombings last month shook the capital, Kabul.

“We are not now winning the war, but the war is far from lost,” Biden said.

Thus, according to the vice president of the U.S., 70% of the Taliban -- those guys responsible for spraying girls with acid, blowing up shrines, daily murdering infidels and apostates, fighting and dying in the name of sharia law -- are "moderate"; they only act that way because they're poor. So why not reach out to them? If only we give them lots of money, perhaps they'll go away -- only, of course, to regroup with better weapons, and come back to fight another day. But Biden and Obama will be out of office by then, so what do they care? Besides, Fareed Zakaria said so.

We should just pull out of this part of the world. They will just kill each other until the house of islam is so weak that we will be able to just walk in and mop up.
